    Hi

I am from Brazil and this is my first time in this forum.
Also, I would like to apologize in advance for grammar mistakes as my native language is Portuguese. I raised goats before, as pets, but not able to continue. I am teacher and at this moment am I writing about goats.

At this first post I have some doubts about Brucellosis:

Is it true that male vaccination may cause infertility ?

Do I also need to vaccin female goats ?

Because of this doubts, I would like to know what members of the herd to
vaccine in order the keep the herd free from Brucellosis.

    Welcome Moises!

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wanted to say Hello! I am in New Mexico in the US. Around here we don't vaccinate for brucellosis unless it is required for a show like the State Fair. I don't even know about that for sure because I don't take animals there. Someone else will know more about this.

Maybe Brucellosis is no more a threat anymore or at least everywhere.

    Thank you welcoming.
