I was working on getting a round bale placed and turned around to see our Buck Torbjorn had climbed up onto the tractor.

I think he is trying to tell me to build him a climbing gym.

I think he is tellling me he wants to climb. Once it thaws a bit more we have lots of rock outcrops and giant stumps for them to play on. I think we are encountering barn fever.

We are hoping to register him as a cashmere goat. He is our biggest producer so far this season and we are hoping he passes down his cashmere traits to the new kids as well as his temperament.

He is very sweet, and a bit mischievous but a joy to have on the farm.

We got goats for invasive species control, but are focusing on cashmere producing goats as we have a fiber focused farm, so they fit in our future plans the best.
