I have a 1 month old buckling.
He is big for his age. He is sniffing other does behinds and teesing them and trying to mount them. His pink thingy is showing when he does it. He is always bothering the other doeling.
Is it possible for him to get her pregnant at this age?
I thought that they couldn't do it until they were 3 months old.

WOW I had not heard of that happening at a month but well a boy is a boy.
I have always thought they could not extend at that age. If he is doing this I would be bottle feeding that boy.

Oh good! :) :fireworks:
What a relief. I was worried that he got that doeling bred.

I've had them extend very young but even extended, they can't breed unless their testicles are functioning, which usually doesn't happen until they are 8-12 weeks of age.

My 6 week old buckling was extending and driving the does crazy, but as a full sized breed, I don't think he had matured enough. I wethered him, just because he was making everyone angry. He will be going to freezer camp next month anyway.
