One is already weaned and the other is almost 8 weeks but he already eats hay free choice and pelleted grain, so i am starting to wean him as well. The younger one is trying to breed his sisters and mother and it is really annoying me as well as them, also I don't want to take any chances. So today after I put all the does and doe kids out in their run, I put the two bucklings inside a roomy stall in the barn with hay and water. The younger one is screaming for his sisters, but Diesel doesn't care, he just eats his hay and hangs out. I am finishing their buck fence this week and all I have to do is stretch the woven wire, so it wouldn't be like I am keeping them cooped up for a long time, and they'll both have their own outdoor pen with lots of room by the end of the week. Just had to vent a little :) can anyone relate? Lol
