Bump on Buckling???

My first though is a splinter./ sticker. I know they swell up.

I had thought that too, or that he busted his backside on a rock or something, but I checked and didn't feel a sticker!🤔

Im sure youve looked. But can you put an ice pack on it, to see if some of the swelling can go down. Maybe see a bite mark, sting?

I would check for bite mark or injury.
Look for holes, scabs etc.

Bee stings, wasps can happen as well,
If they are flying around now.

I'd shave it to get a better look

It’s hard for me to tell in the pic, but is it right beside his anus? Perhaps a scent gland got blocked up?
Is he pooping ok- nothings being blocked?

I haven't been around except for short sections of time, so I haven't witnessed the natural process, but since this bump is a couple weeks old I assume he would be displaying some sign of discomfort if he was blocked.


I could be wrong but it doesn't feel like inflamation fluid like and kind of squishy, but more firm. I'll give it another looking over tomorrow, being on the look out for something more like sting instead of a thorn. I'm glad it's not causing him discomfort though.
