We have horses and I work for an equine veterinary clinic. We carry CaCoCopper injectable for the horses. Can I use it for my goats? We are goat illiterate at the all horse clinic. If anyone has used it, please advise me of the dosage. I think my girls have copper defiency. Thanks in advance.
Wish I had an answer.... but I'd be Leary ...on giving that... as I would be so afraid to overdose..... hope someone has an answer for you on it.... giving a proper dosage....sorry I am not much help...
We use the copper bolus for cattle divided up into smaller dosages for the goats.... it has a steady release instead of an "all at once" like the injection would be.
It is my understanding that you want the slow release of the copper bolus rather than a "quick hit." I use Copasure Capsules from Jeffers livestock.
