and we are NEGATIVE across the board. :stars: I am so excited, now we will have to get Johne's and CL tested. I am just not sure which one to do first. Also, update on our little girl that we thought had CL, the lump just kept getting bigger, so we took her to the vet. Not CL she was snake bit, poor girl.
congrats on the CAE neg results As to the snake bite - ouch! but so glad thats all it was, hopefully she is on the mend now
Thanks, we are so excited about it. Especially since a few of our animals are grades that came from homes that had not ideal about CAE. Actually to be honest all but two of the grade animals scored the lowest on the titer count. Now I have to decide wich test to do next. What would you do first the CL or the Johne's test?
Johnes is so weird on a blood test and unless you have ever had a CL abscess Its too can be inconclusive. So take your pick. I test everyone once for all three and then only test for CAE after that. Johnes is cheeper (if you are going through WADDL) but other then that its a toss up on which to do first if you plan to do both.
