Hi! We have Nigerian dwarf goats and we drink their milk. My youngest will be ten months tomorrow. I weaned my other three at 10 months (after an iron test) and switched them to whole milk. I would love to give him our goats milk, but I’ve read there might be too much protein in it? Has anyone give their Nigerian milk to a baby? I would think it would be great for him because of the high fat content.
Thanks in advance!

Goat milk is a very popular alternative to formula, particularly when children have cow allergies. Nearly every goat person we have met has a "well my (some family relation) couldn't nurse or have formula, so my grandma bought goats."

Goats milk is easier to digest. And alot more wholesome than other milks. The only warning medically, dont warm Goats milk in thr microwave. It depletes the the nutrient values.

Thank you so much for your reply! Makes me feel better about giving it to him.
