A friend was telling me her goats have been scratching and a kid also had diarrhea. The kid was wormed and I think had a cocci course. She treated for lice too. I didn't know if lice itself could bring on diarrhea, but I would surmise if it was strong enough to bring on anemia, then a weaker goat could get scouring.
    Any thoughts?

sounds like the cocci medication probably didnt work - what did she use and how many days?

She said she treated for a week and didn't halve it. Pretty sure it was Sulmet. I guess that's why she was looking in another direction for the scouring.

I would try another cocci medication. The little buggers are becoming more immune. I have to switch between sulmet and albon.
