We took Carolina to a breeder to get bred on Wednesday or Thursday (I forgot  ) and sadly she had to stay because she wasn't quite in heat yet. The breeder didn't witness him mounting her, but she's thinking she came into standing heat sometime Friday night. So hopefully she was bred! If not, we get a breed rebreeding. The buck looked nice under all his fluff. Long body, level topline, angular rear legs, strong pasterns. Rump is long, but hard to tell the angle of it under all that fluff. He has polled and blue eye genetics behind him, and his genetics are just great IMO. You can see him, his dam, and his sire, at the bottom of this page: http://redrailfarm.homestead.com/AGS-Goats.html A doeling will be retained, and I am super excited about this breeding! I think they'll be a great match.

Yes, that would be nice, because they are 1.5 hours away. :p

I like his pedigree too. Was happy to find a nice buck fairly close to home.
