Hello,

I just purchased some CDT to administer to my does. I wanted to vaccinate the kids too, I have 7 of them. Is this okay? Also, instructions say to apply 2ml per goat. Hope it also applies to kids?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

I sure wish I researched it a bit sooner. I sold one of the bucklings and he will be leaving in May. Lady requested for them to be vaccinated, so I was hoping to do it soon. But I guess maybe I'll wait till next week or ultimately towards the end of the month.

I just vaccinated my Nubian kiddos 2 weeks ago. They were all around 5 weeks old. I typically aim to vaccinate at 4-5 weeks, then they get a booster shot 3 weeks later.

Babies immune system are not fully up and running until around weening age of 2 1/2-3 months old, this is when most recommend vaccinating with cd&t. booster 21 days later.

What would you suggest for an older goat that has not been vaccinated? I've been considering covexin8 and cd&t which would be better? Also they had dewormer from last owner. when should I worm again and with what. Years ago I used ivermectin:bonk:I think.
