I just bought a new young billy that is around 5 months and he hasn't had a CD&T vaccination when he was younger. I usually give my kids the vaccination at about 6 weeks and then again at about 10 weeks and my adult goats once a year. I am not sure whether to give him the two shots or just one. Should I give him the vaccination and then give him a follow up about a month later, or should I just give him one vaccination since he is older? Thanks.
If he were here, I would give him the initial shot, a booster in 3-4 weeks and then boost every year. It won't hurt him=)
if a goat hasnt had the CD/T shot not matter the age they need the original shot and then the booster 3-4 weeks later. Then you can go to a shot once a year.
