I gave my little ones their 2nd dose of CDT 2 days ago. The first shot turned into an abcess in my buckling, which I lanced and am treating with iodine and neosporin. The booster shot I gave in the rear leg armpit area sq because it was the only place I could get skin while also holding him still. My doeling got hers in the front armpits. The first still has a small lump but it's slowly getting smaller so I'm not concerned.
Both of the booster shots have caused a large area of swelling and tenderness. It's worse for the buckling and he's limping. It's not swollen outward like where you can look at them and see it, but in a broad area around the injection site about the circumference of my fist. Idk what to do for them, especially poor Captain Cully who is limping.
