Mozzarella is going to be easier than cheddar- Mozz. Is one of my favorites to make this year (I'm getting into cheese) but I have only done it with cows milk, as none of my does have freshened... (come on girls! Lol:waiting
I have never done the actual cheddaring process to make true cheddar, but there is a farmhouse cheddar that is very good. I will try to find a recipe...
I did parmesan cheese this year. It turned out grate. ( pun intended) I got the recipie from the Home Cheese Making book by Ricki Carroll.
I had the library get me all the cheese books they could find. That one book had more info than all the rest.
Cheesemaking.com has amazing recipes. I love making the Caciotta with goats milk. It tastes amazing. My other go-to is the Crescenza.
They have easy recipes and harder recipes. It is a complete how-to site including pictures and you can order supplies from them too.
Now I can't wait til I can get milk from my dairy does. I am excited to make more cheese! [emoji1]
