Choppers did it!

    Had our first non-human kids last night. Choppers gave birth to a doe-ling and buck-ling. She did it on her own and things are going well. Really, really cool!

    Missed the birth by a half hour is what we figure. Maybe next year!

    Thanks to everyone who answered our questions in the past 150 days!

    That happened to me with my first doe too. I missed the birth by maybe 10 min. I went out there and she had twins, she was still cleaning them when I found her. The little buckling was actually on the outside of the pen trying to get back in.
