Hi! I was wondering if clover and pine was poisonous? I read that they can't eat it on a different goat website. :thinking:

Pretty sure clover isn't poisonous, my goats eat it and are fine. I've read pine can cause abortions, not sure if it's poisonous, but my goats eat TONS of pine and have never aborted or gotten sick.

It's only Ponderosa Pine that causes abortion. Clover and pine are fine for them.

My goats love pine, and our yard does have clover. What you need to be careful of is if they gorge themselves on wet, fresh clover it can cause bloat.

My goats eat pine almost every day...they love it, and there haven't been any problems at all.
