For the life of me - I know that we talked about this Liz, but can't find my notes - I can't remember how far along a doe should be in pregnancy before treating for cocci with Di-Methox powder addeded to water.

    Any ideas??

    Thanks
    Allison

WOW good question? I have never thought about that because we are always bred in the winter.

I talked to Liz, and she said that if they are 3- 3 1/2 months along then I can treat with Di-Methox. Then the kids at 3 weeks and then a weekly dose their after.

If they are milkers - you must not drink the milk for 2 weeks - so I will wait to treat the milker till I am done milking her.

I am just so excited to get everything done and be able to enjoy the rest of kidding season.
