My buck which used to sound manly, know sounds like a baby screaming. He sounds like he's loosing his voice, is this normal? He's 4 months old.
If he is crying often he will sound screechy. Or thats just the way his adult voice will sound. I have a 2 year old that sounds girly , a 5 year old that is quiet but screechy and a yearling that has the deepest baa of them all....and he's the loudest.
I agree....... it does happen ......as long as your buck is healthy ...... no temp , eating, drinking .........acting normal......he should be just fine....
thank you...so far he's eating and drinking, haven't taking temp but nothing looks wrong with him. I guess it's those darn hormones. I did see him jump on the wether, trying to do the deed. Must be the change.
Does he have another goat with him? How long ago was he weened? I ask this because my goat do horse (haha) after all the cried to mom. He will be fine.
My Alpine wether sounds like a sick donkey when he baaaa's...nothing wrong with him, that's just his noise. It is really pathetic sounding...lol
You know I was a bit worried about my adult goat, Hope. Her baaa (we call it her maaaa LOL) sounds pretty weird!! But I don't guess it means anything? I guess you could describe her as sounding like a sick donkey too. It is pretty funny sounding!
