I have noticed that one of my wethers has been ribby. I dewormed him with fenbendazole. He is getting free choice orchardgrass hay. An alfalfa timothy orchardgrass mixed hay with molasses on it. And alfalfa pellets. He gets that every day. And he has a small pasture. I gave him ivomec today. I don't know why he isn't plump like my other wether. They both look fat because of fuzz. But when I check them I can feel his ribs. And he runs the other wether out of his feed and Ian row aggressive one. Anymore suggestions on what to do. Or what to feed. I don't want them fat so much that they can't walk without wabbling. But I don't like to feel ribs either!

Well I know different wormers cover different worms and then there is cocci which takes cocci meds. I would start with a fecal.
Should I do one on both? Or just him.
A fecal would be good. Knowing what you might be dealing with and seeing if your wormer worked.
I would drop the molasses, wethers do very well on quality grass hay, loose minerals and maybe some alfalfa hay/pellets to help balance the calcium: phosphorus Ratio...
is he chewing a cud, pooping berries, peeing a steady stream, bright eye and alert?
Does he seem to eat well? check his teeth to besure allis well in there, not preventing him from chewing.ect...
(never stick your fingers in his mouth...they have super sharpe teeth..use something to keep him frombiting down before going in ;))
