Got the goats moved into their permanent pen (super small dry lot that they can't break out of) and took advantage of being able to catch Pickles.

Personally the difference between when I first saw her in February and now is astounding. She's gained length, thickness and bone and she's far better put together than she first looked (she's also gotten pretty big, leaving me to think her size issues are genetic). I'd say she's definitely been bred for the show ring, and even though she didn't do well, she'll be in a few breed shows and hopefully some FFA shows later this year. The only things I don't like (which is why I'm looking for a critique as I have a buck in mind for registered kids next year) is that she toes out on all four feet, has a fairly weak chine, seems to be built rather downhill and can completely straighten her back legs without trying (like a posty legged doe in labor, except she does it just standing around).

We've had her out here for a while now and there have been zero signs of heat. However, her entire genital area is puffy, her ligs are not rock hard like they should be and there feels like the bare beginnings of an udder. Problem is she doesn't look bred and I can't find any babies by bouncing her. I've never run into this before and I'm pretty well confused. The people I were boarding her with obviously only paid about 2 seconds attention a day, because they swear up and down she never came into heat once. Opinions?
