I need to give all my goats (except kids) copper. I read the good thread about it in newbies but I am wondering 1) where do I buy copasture? 2) where do I get a bolus gun?

    Thanks

P.S. Wildflower is much better today!

I use a dog pill dispenser to give my guys their copper bolus, much easier than a bolus gun.....I bought mine at a pet store for about a $1.50.....my guys are mini's so I break the copasure boluses down into smaller capsules which fit good into the pill shooter.

When I had to bolus my 2 mini's I looked into buying the copasure from Jeffer's and determined that it was way, way more than I could ever use for my 2. I contacted the breeder that I get them from to see if I could buy a small amount from her. She just gave me one of the cow bolus's which will last my 2 mini's a long time.

Yep, the cow Copasure, then you need to break the pills down to smaller ones.

I use a calf bolus gun.
