Does anyone here raise Coturnix Quail? I'm really hoping to get a large set of eggs to incubate later this year, after I do a batch of chickens. They look really fun, and the eggs are supposed to be delicacies. I can hardly wait.

Well, 18 days ago I set 45 quail eggs in my incubator, and tonight I came home to a hatched chick!

Yes, lots of different spots and patterns. They sure are the prettiest eggs, except for maybe the green eggs I get from some of my chickens.

I hope lots more hatch.

    Congratulations!
I've always thought about raising quail but never have yet..
Hope they all hatch for you!

Those eggs remind me of killdeer eggs, so spotted!
