Hello,

Im concerned but not sure if I should be more concerned and take action.
Most of my goats seem to get really bloated after each meal but it always goes away on its own after about an hour. There on an all alfalfa diet. And rarely will be fed corn stalks or leaves we cut down. I became a little more concerned when I saw my buck with a bloated belly because I've never seen him like that before.

I also have a question about two does I bought about 4 months ago. I was told they were boer oberhasli mixes and now at 6 months I haven't seen much growth from when I brought them home. I've dewormed them and separated them so they don't have to compete for food. Any other ideas? Or possibly lied to about the breed? They are about the size of a nigerian and maybe most weigh 35lbs. I can try and post pictures later.

Thanks for your help! :)

First off, welcome to TGS!

It sounds like your goats just have big rumens. If it were bloat they'd have a huge hard left side, up high. They would be grinding their teeth in obvious pain, laying around & not wanting to move.

As for your does yes, pics would be great, we'd love to see them!
