He is almost 1 yr old. 200lbs.
Currently treated for mites. Also has a protein knee that has been vet checked. Ignore both of those.
Also we not very good at good trimming hoofs IMG_1606612579.589822.jpg yet so his are not great. IMG_6619.jpg IMG_5862.jpg IMG_5861.jpg IMG_5849.jpg IMG_5195.jpg

From what I can see he has nice size shoulders, length of rib, nice spring of rib, long twist. What is his teat structure and mouth? Are you wanting to show him or as a meat goat breeder? Could you take a picture oh his testes from a back end shot?

His teats are 2x2 and his bite is good.
We would love to show him but haven’t had a chance yet. Currently have 6 does breed to him. Super excited for my first kidding season in feb and March.
What do you think he lacks?
    Thanks

The picture of his butt & testes..looks like the testes are not correct. Im sure its the picture. But most of what he is missing is thickness where his neck joins his body, which comes with age. He is a very nice buckling
Thats all I really see missing in the pictures. He is a nice buckling!

Thanks! I think he’s nice but wonder if it’s just because I’m partial to my own goats. Lol
Maybe the testes is because he has hair loss from mites. Here’s one from august

In cattle we measure the size of the scrotum. the theory is the bigger the more feral the bull.
the distance the scrotum hangs is affect of temperature.

Yes..that picture looks much better. I was going by the shape. The bottom has to have less than a 1/2 inch seperation. I know thats crazy...but that part is VERY important to judges.
