I don't know how many of you are familiar with Hoanbu Dairy Goats but this spring we bought a buckling from them and here he is! Please critique him for me!

He's pretty....or handsome!

The only bad things I see is that he could stand more uphill, and that he maybe toes out. Overall, I like him, good job picking him out. :)

Thanks! He's related to the reserve grand Nubian champion at nationals (; ...well very distantly related but it still counts lol!

Now that I've looked at him again, his rump is a tiny bit steep.

Hopefully others will comment on him too. ;)

I would like:

More brisket
Strength through the chine
Depth of rib (but he's young, he'll grow)
More correct rump

What I like:
Extreme dairyness (thought he was a doe!!)
Overall angularity
Correct set of feet and legs
Great length of bone

A little young to be judging just yet. Going to go through alot of changes in the coming year. But as he stands, nothing to bad stands out cept he seems a little postie on his back legs and as mentioned a touch of a step rump. But for a nubian, its not bad. I really like his front legs. Cant see if he is toeing out or now but they are nice and straight and perfectly under his shoulders which look to also be very nice.
