Thanks for the warm welcome and all the advice.

I tried the cloth method today, she was not thrilled. I think I need something to soften it up, it almost looks like dry, white dirt in her ear. I don;t think it hurts her but she is not overly thrilled.

I read online about putting rubbing alcohol mixed with vinegar in the ear, anyone know if this works?

Thanks again and I will post pictures of Daisy and Molly soon.

    its white you said? hmm

I wouldnt know if that would work -- but it doesnt sound like it would hurt her so its worth a shot

I don't know, Stacey said try it so go for it. With my dog he has those yeast infections, I was told to put a very little amount of Vinegar in his ears. Just do not do to much.

I would still try to wipr it out with a real wet wash cloth, see if it will loosen a bit.

You can also put warm olive oil mixed with mullien and/or garlic in her ear, that will have more soothing and healing properties in it as well as cleaning.

we use baby oil on a rag. That seems to clean ears very well. and then they smell good too!
