The cydectin I've used in the past was clear and my DH just bought some for the does that have kidded and it's purple. I did some checking and I believe it is ok for the goats, but when I started measuring it out this morning, I couldn't help but notice a strong, turpentine like smell. Is that normal?? I don't want to hurt my own goats again so if anyone knows please advise. Denise
