Here are some pics of Dora and Wendy. They are FF and this is my first experience with kidding too. I hope for a smooth kidding. I took these last night before we moved them to their own area. They are acting quiet and eating less. From what I can tell, I can barely feel their ligs. I believe they took on their first breeding. What do you think? Do you think they will go soon? How many kids will they have? They both looked to have dropped which is always a good sign. Their udders look to be filling up nicely. When they get good and tight you know they are VERY close! doing the baby dance for you
Just an update day 147, Dora, the silver one her bag has grown much larger and she now has some a slight sticky discharge, and much brighter pink. Wendy I can't tell much change. I figured she would go first. How long after you start seeing a little discharge before the babies arrive??!! I have read many of the posts, and sounds like they can definitely surprise you! I will post more when I know more :girl:
Usually when you see the discharge in the span of due dates they are really close, pink well I'd say she'll go in a few hours. When she starts squatting to pee and nothing comes out , she'll be pushing soon. Heres some :girl: for ya! Good luck and a healthy kidding for Dora!
I just got done checking them. Dora's bag has ballooned some more. Her discharge is about the same. Wendy now has some discharge too. They are sister goats. I'm getting excited. I'm going to get some rest. When something happens I will post pics!
