I have a lactating doe experiencing diarrhea but I think it may just be her body's way of purging surplus milk from her system since she is in the midst of 'drying off'. I am not asking for parasite and/or disease diagnosis(if the problem persists, I will order a fecal examination); I am just wondering if diarrhea is a common occurrence during 'drying off'.

Thanks all; fecal exam showed high coccidia count(treatment was successful). I am now incorporating daily feed rations medicated with rumensin; do y'all know if rumensin is safe during pregnancy?

I would not do that for adults. If you do it for kids, you have to make sure they eat the proper amount at one feeding.
