Hi guys n gals, I haven't been on here in a while, been super, super busy to the point I barely have time to see the goats! I'm hoping work hires some people this week so I can go back to my part time hours.
Anyway, I don't have time to run fecals but want to treat a group with Dimethox (Sulfadimethoxine 12.5%) and use this frequently but I absolutely can not remember if it's safe for pregnant does! We have a doe we are prepping for a sale in a few weeks that is possibly about 5-6 weeks bred so I definitely don't want to risk anything. If I can find time tomorrow I may run a fecal on her. I don't deworm for nor reason, I do suspect one young doe in her group could be getting some cocci count as the last time she started looking kind of 'meh' she had a slight count. I need to make sure they are all in good shape with that especially with the stress of going to a sale soon and possibly new homes! Thanks for any help!
