I have an X50, which is a calf dehorner with a goat tip on it, there's nothing wrong with it but personally if I had to get another one I would get an X30, I've heard good things about it from other breeders.

I bought the Rhinehart X50A and got the nigerian tip. It was a mistake, because it looked too small to use. Before I tried the iron, I ordered the standard tip. I have used it several times and seemed to workgreat. I am pleased with it. I purchased the X50A because it was a commercial grade dehorner. I hope it lasts a long time. Found a good price at Hoegger's.

If you don't have a lot of goats maybe the X30 will work just fine. Rhinehart is a good product.

    Happy burning
