So I have two super nice boer bucks. One is 5 and the other is 4 They are very gentle and well trained. So they are not mean to people at all but when they get in the same pen, they won't stop fighting and there is always blood.
They spent all their time together until last year when I started tethering one. Now that breeding is almost over I am trying to think of ideas to put them back together. I know that most of the fighting this summer has been because they were in a rut. So I hope they settle down.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has used something like a ram shield to keep buck from fighting with each other.

Never used the ram shield. So I don’t know.

As to the fighting, some bucks can’t be together if they are causing too much harm. You may have to separate them when breeding is done.
