I was planning on milking my doe next month, but she had TRIPLETTS on Jan. 27th. I didn't know if that would be too much on her to feed them and us. She has a nice udder and is keeping good weight, I just worry that feeding her kids and me milking her would be too much her first year.
I would like to know to cus I have a ff due to kid 1st of May with triplets  Didn't even dawn on me till I seen this post
As long as she's keeping condition...there is no reason why you can't milk a FF. Some don't bother due to the fact that most FF have smaller teats...if you want to milk, go for it.
She's got a nice udder and is feeding the kids well, but I think she seems like she's losing a bit of finish. She's eating and drinking good though. I added some calf manna and beet pulp to her ration and she seemed to enjoy it. Im going to wait a couple weeks and try and milk her.
