I have a 3 1/2 month old pygmy doe that is swollen and bleeding on her vulva there is only does in the pen with her I have a buck in the pen next to them but don't think he could have bred her thru the fence so could it just mayby be she is in heat ?

She is quite young but, fence breeding can indeed happen.

Blood can indicate, aborting, infection, being hit super hard by a big Doe and cause internal damage and hemeraging(sp).

Is she dripping blood constantly or is it just there? How long has it been going on?
Is it fresh red blood or darker colored blood?

It is odd for a Doe that young to be bleeding like that.

Is there any bad odor coming from her vulva or just blood?

I don't see any cuts and her tail is all messy with the blood from it it's fresh red it wasnt dripping from it while i was out there and its not old looking I just noticed it today I usually pay close attention to them and play with them everyday but yesterday was the only day I Diddnt so it could have been there I Diddnt notice when feeding them yesterday It's only her and her twin sister a 4 mo old and two 7 mo old does in the pen they do butt each other but I haven't noticed it being hurtful to them

Her temp is 101.5 and no bleeding today just swollen is that a normal temp for a goat?

Temp is normal ..101.5-103.5 is the norml range...

Could be she rubbed it agains the fence or one with horns rammed her...causing the bleeding and swelling...

I would clean her up and keep an eye on her..

You can put preparation H on her swelling, it may help get it down

It might have been that she was in heat and the buck got her through the fence. Those things do happen.

That's what I'm afraid of it appears my other young does are in heat as well now I don't have another place to move him right now so gonna have to put something between their fences to prevent it from happening to the others ;-(

Pallets would make a good barrier...
for your doe..she is way too young to be bred, if you find she took I would talk to your vet about Lut...a medication to clean her out....if you do a blood test (I htink at least 30 days after breeding) it will let you know if she is indeed bred.
