My doe (Image) with pneumonia finally lost her battle. She had kidded 2 weeks before, then we had an abrupt weather change. She got pneumonia.
She was treated with everything, the vet tried her best as did I. i was srynging water 2 ounces at a time, trying to keep her hydrated. She went down
and never could get back up. I had to sell her sweet kids as bottle babies.
I had to leave for Florida to see my really ill mom, so the vet came out and now poor Image is across the rainbow bridge. The vet said we both had done
all we could. This is the first goat I have ever lost to illness in all my years of goat ownership. One died of strangulation in a hay feeder, 5 yrs. ago, but none to illness.
