This doe shouldnt be due til April 6th. Dont think she was breed early. She seems to be having alot of trouble. Shes a first timer. Maybe Im just paranoid but shes on the ground pushing itching at her back legs and making alot of noise. At this stage will the kid not be right? Im also not seeing a bubble but what seems to be something red... never seen it before. Shesa not friendly so I cant really catch her out, tried to but she runs away.

she could be aborting. Chances are the baby will not survive unless she was bred earlier.

sounds like it is a wait and see sort of thing due to her skittishness

sometimes they have false contractions so I pray that is what is happening.

Red? As in blood or a red bag? The kid would be pretty big at this stage. It is possible it is positioned wrong.

I had a first freshener abort the other day who was due 4-10. Her kid did not make it. She had no outward signs until she was pushing him out. I hope your doe is just driving you crazy for nothing. Good luck.

It was a red bag I guess cause it wasnt just blood. She aborted the kid not long ago. It was a little buck. Lacking hair, and very small.

Thank you everyone. Its nice to know people understand. No one else in my household is into the goats so they didnt even care. Meanwhile I feel very blah and sad.

AAAAWWWWW, I am so sorry. We are all here for you, I would give you a hug but this is a close as I can get.

Make sure mom is given her Molasses water and given a little extra TLC. I am sure she is hurting just as bad as you are.
