I was thinking I needed to give the momma a dewormer. I read the labels on the 3 different brands. All the brands said don't give to lactating does. I have ivomec for sheep safeguard and valbazen. What do I do? What else should be given to her. She had a very easy birth, but she had some issues about a week ago.

Thank you

Wormer is only an issue if a human is drinking the milk, and even that isn't a problem. I still drink the milk of the goats that I de-worm.

I drink my milk from my girls regardless, but I never feed anyone else my girl's milk (even in baked goods) if I know one of them has been treated or wormed recently. I'm not being liable for someone else's reactions and would hate to carry that burden.
