I hope she gets better. I am having a doe that I think it doing the same thing. This is the second time the hock had come up swollen and hot. Last summer and now. Wondering if it is stress? She just kidded and then got mastitis(with a bunch of other goats) she is a first timer. I have B complex. might not be a bad idea to use?

question. I have heard tons about garlic being good for so many things with goats. Mastitis. anti-inflammatory. So could I give the doe garlic powder or does it need to be the blub of the garlic(not a gardener so I don't know if its called that) or the leaves? I have all of the above and would love to help this doe all I can. If I can give garlic powder(my preference) how much should I give her?

I just decided 2 give her around the same amount as half a garlic bulb. haven't seen a change yet.

She kidded so she was kept in the barn with limited movement with other goats. She is doing much much better about 5-6 days ago the hock stopped being so hot and it just got better from there. The swelling went down and she began to to put weight on it. Now she walks on it fine. Soooooooo happy. Thanks for all your help guys
