Doeling with fever and swelling on neck

    I do not have anything to add except i see a strong fishy tail. The kid probably needs copper. Def have a fecal done esp with the tail...copper helps control worm loads to some extent.

    Don’t know if they ever got a vet to see her (there really isn’t any that aren’t just dabbling horse vets around here) and this was over the weekend but she’s back to normal.

    If she is back to normal, then I bet it had to be a reaction to some type of bite or maybe even something she ate. Glad she is ok.

    I highly doubt it as she was not anemic but she has since been wormed.

    Sometimes..if they eat something sharp..like a bramble or thorn..it can cause a throat swelling.
