Hi there! I was wondering if anyone on this board regularly made kefir from their goats milk and if so, what you did with it?
Exactly! I have some and I can't wait to start making kefir again, but I am bored with just using it for smoothies!
Oh- I thought you were asking how to make it. We usually soak oatmeal in it- Nourishing Traditions style.
Ah... No I've tried some things with it...making smoothies, pancakes, drinking it plain etc. I have heard you can make cheese out of it, but I have no idea how. Have you ever tried that?
No- we do make yogurt cheese so I imagine it would be similar. We also use it in pancakes, smoothies, muffins ect...
When you make the yogurt cheese do you just strain the yogurt through cheesecloth or is there more to it than that?
