hello, is there a relation between weight of doe and her milk production? does over weight decrease milk quantity? thank you in advance.
I know some does who produce a lot tend to have a hard time keeping weight on. And yes a doe being overweight can tend to have low milk production-my mom had a doe do that-but the doe produced nice kids and the majority of the kids ended up producing a good amount of milk.
My doe puts everything into her milk so no matter how much we feed her she doesnt get fatter.... That didnt really answer your question but it went along with it a bit.
