Dot broke a horn off

My 5 year old Dot somehow last night or early this morning she broke one of her horns off. There is a piece sticking up about 4 inches. It look like the horn just slipped off of what’s still connected to her head. It’s bloody and nasty looking. As soon as I saw it I sprayed with blue coat (as flies are flying here) and gave her a Noromycin 300 antibiotic 4ml (she weighs about 85-90 lbs) and a Vit. B complex shot 5ml. Does the piece sticking out need to be surgically remove? Should I clean the part sticking out and with what? What should I do? Getting a vet is probably a NO.

Is there a vet you could call and consult with? I think what you already did was a good idea... I've never dealt with this so hopefully someone with more knowledge chimes in...
Are you giving her supplements like a free choice mineral?
Do you have an antiseptic for goats? Or like an iodine solution?

I have a bottle of 7 percent iodine.

I put out free minerals but no one is eating much of it now.

Yes I'd clean it!
With iodine 7%?
I'm not positive about iodine but she should have something to clean it with... I asked about the minerals because why would a healthy goats horn break lol, just scary ... you seem to be doing everything right, the Blu cote was a good idea. I looked up some to try and be of help since no ones chimed in yet!
If I'm correct blukote is an antiseptic spray blukote - Google Search

That should work!
Is it still bleeding a lot? Do you have any blood stop for hooves?

Maybe a picture? If she has part of the horn left its not as much of an emergency as it would be if it broke at the base...
Leave what is left. If there is a lot of blood, clean it up best you can. Blukote is fine.

Yes on blood stop. No it wasn’t bleeding much of any. It was a bloody messy looking situation. I looked to see where she may have been to lose it. I was contemplating cutting her horns back because they curl like a ram and came back up toward her face. I don’t know it she was fighting or maybe hung it through a fence and tore out of it. I walked the fence row and found nothing. Here is a before pic of her. I loved the way they grew but they were so close to her head when they made the curve around.

I wouldn't cut back her horns, as they have nerves and veins in them... boy is she pretty poor girl!
If it starts bleeding again I'd use the blood stop as it will help clot the area, otherwise keep up on the blukote a couple times a day so it won't get infected
