I appreciate the sugestions given. Her left side had mastitis when we got and and we fixed it with dry cow and miking. The right side is not as large and gets a little use from her kid (8mths). The left side is huge and i just milked a little out. So large used my thumb and index. You can tell she is sore. No pink or blood signs just a tiny flow, no curds either. I gave her a break and will continue tonight. Should I use dry cow as a precaution? We are stopping because we may breed her in a few months. Thaks for all the help.

still continue to milk her so she doesnt get mastitis again. You want to gradually stop milking her. You can breed her when she is lactating -- Ive done it many times.
