I am getting ready to dry off a doe from her twins. They have been nursing for 5 months now, and I would like to bred the doe for fall. How long should it be before she will come into heat? I had read on someone's website that once you pull the babies, the does should go into heat 7-10 days. I was wondering what anyone's experience with this is. Thanks

What breed of goat is your doe, gotgoats? Most standard dairy breeds don't generally cycle this time of year...if that's the case you may have to wait until fall.
