if you scroll down they have a couple types of ear tags as well as the applicator. If you don;t have to tag i wouldn;t do it. Goats like to rip them out of their friends ears.

I don;t like ear tags at all. I have seen so many animals get them ripped out. I managed a large herd of boers a few years ago and just about every animal in the sixty plus herd had a tear in its ear from an ear tag. I was milking one of the nubian does and as she jumped off the milk stand she caught her tag on it and ripped the lower half of her ear off.
I am very against ear tags.

In washington (as far as i know) they still accept tattoos as scrapie id. Any animals that are not registered have to have a WA in front of my herd tattoo. Verifying they were born in washington state. At least this is what i was told byt people from where i got my premise id.
