These are my Buff Geese. I got Eleanor as a pet when she was a tiny gosling. Later on my friend who gifted me Eleanor called to say she had a goose who was not accepted by the flock snd was picked on. So enters Edward. This is their 3rd season together and first success at hatching live babies! I'm so excited for them. Geese make wonderful parents and although I didn't get Miss Eleanor to breed..life happens and I am so happy she has some babies to raise. She still has lots of eggs under her so the wait is on!! So far we counted three.

Gosh, they sure are cute little things, and the parents are beautiful. Really like the idea of turning tires into nest boxes.

I’ve got some muscovies with nests hidden around… some of them used my nest areas I made and others did not 😆
I started with 3 hens and a drake. And that’s about perfect for wintering over. But last year I didn’t sell all my hatched girls or process them, so we will be overrun with babies this year 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️😅
