everything is done!!!but....

well, what a relief i have all the kids tattooed, only have one doeling and possibly one buckling still available from this springs kidding. everyone is coppered, replamin, hoof trimmed and kids were weighed. All kids are gaining weight and looking good minus the fact i have lice again dang deer...so all goats have been getting treatments. i did forget to trim the stinky,yukky boys though so that will be next when i decide to smell nasty again.

but...... i have a late season kidding this year. my old sweet gold buck "castle rock pinpoint clover" was sold and i wanted to breed some does before he left so he was put in the pasture with a few does,so kidding is earlier then normal for some does.... i have 4 does due this month and 1 doe due in november. what was i thinking........ im not ready... 2 will be first freshers, other 3 are experienced moms. but i only have three kidding stalls so now i have to figure something out.. but at least the girls will have a nice vacation after they wean this set of kids....
