    Hi,

New here and have a question. My Saanen dairy goat has become listless. She is eating some but shows little interest. I observed her urinating and it comes out in pulses and she seems to go forever. Not normal for here. I would appreciate any help, we are concerned.

    thanks...alan

Welcome!! By chance is she in heat? I notice this time of year that my girls aren't as interested in feed and when they "go" it's not a stream as much as it is a pulse and they seem to walk when they do it.
Make sure she's drinking and if you can, take her temp...higher than 103.5 or lower than 100 is cause for concern.

Urinating a lot can also mean a UTI

Not saying that Liz is wrong, I do agree that when going to heat it can cause the does to be less interested in food.

....could very well be.... If it lasts more than a few days of doing this behavior..... it could very well be UTI....
