1 of my goats has had a false pregnancy. I have heard this happens sometimes even though she hasn't been near a male. She seems to have had the 'baby' because she has gone back to her former size. But I am concerned about her udders. They are soooo big. I have read that if a goat has never been milked then it's best to leave the udders alone. What do I do? Should I milk her? If I leave her will she get mastitis?

it does happen. some people go ahead and milk the does some dont if it isnt real full. sounds like you need to milk her and see what happens, she may have a regular lactation if you milk her. in any case she needs milked out and mastits treatment given if she doesnt fill right back up.
