She is an Americauna and she lays blue eggs. People call them easter egger chickens. She's a fat, friendly chicken that will let people pet her and hold her and she comes when she's called. She teaches all the young chickens to come when we call them. They learn quickly from Magwa that people usually have treats. :greengrin:

What a great picture! You can just see she's thinking about what you are doing.

I've got my first two Americauna's that are six weeks old right now.

I got several (5) in our last order. They are 3 mos old now, I think. I also got a beautiful rooster. I guess they have different color patterns, but one of mine is really pretty, blue feathers (partly), and one is white with black, the rest look similar to yours. They aren't laying yet of course. I can't wait. Your girl looks really cute!

That is a wonderful picture. :slapfloor: Besides goats I raise chickens. The breed is called Delaware. I spoil all 27 of my chickens.
